Fallen Star

fallen star

Seeds of imagination
Glitter in the skies above
Until we pocket them
Once caught in a velvet glove
What happens to the glimmering seed
When it gets ignored?
Faded, jaded, forgotten
Until it turns to stone?
How many shards
Have we stepped upon
Underneath our feet?
How much hope and faith’s required
To return the glow from the heart?
